Welcome New Neighbor!

New neighbors are joining us in Kentwood at a quick pace! Are you one of our new neighbors? Welcome to Kentwood! We’re so happy that you’ve joined us. Here is a little information to help you find your way around.

Kentwood Home Guardians is a homeowners association encompassing almost 3400 homes in 21 tracts. You can find a map here. We are governed by the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, a California state law codified at Cal. Civ. Code §§4000-6150. For general information about Davis-Stirling, read this Wikipedia article.

Our association was formed back in the 1940’s when our tracts were developed. For various reasons, our dues have remained largely unchanged over the decades. Consequently, we run on a very lean budget and our operations are powered primarily by stakeholder volunteers. Click here to find out how you can get involved.

We maintain a bricks and mortar office in the Ralphs shopping center on Sepulveda manned part-time by an Operations Manager and volunteers. Information about our current Operations Manager can be found here. Contact information for Operations Manager, including office hours, can be found here.

Your association’s Board of Directors is comprised of stakeholders elected by the community each year at our Annual Meeting in May. Find out more about your current Board here. We’d love to see you at an upcoming Board meeting. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Agendas are emailed and posted on our website at the end of the week preceding the meeting. Do we have your email address? You can provide it below.
