KHG Board of Director Candidate Statements

Our Annual Member Meeting & Election is coming up next month on Saturday, May 20th. If you haven’t received your ballot in the mail, please contact the office.

We have three Board seats up for election. Two candidates submitted themselves prior to the deadline. Their Candidate Statements appear below.

The third seat can be filled by write in, if enough people vote. If the third seat is not filled by a write in candidate, the Board will appoint a member to the seat.

One additional KHG member has expressed an interest in being considered. If you or somebody you know wants to be considered, please contact the office.

The two candidates officially on the ballot:

Colleen Fracisco

Colleen has lived in Kentwood for 12 years. She is a nurse with a Masters degree in Health Care Administration, and has been practicing for more than 20 years in ICU’s managing perioperative areas. Her son attends Kentwood Elementary and has been involved in several Westchester sports programs.

Colleen is passionate about supporting the Westchester community and maintaining a family-friendly environment. Colleen shares, “The moment I saw a boarding house being built in Kentwood and RV’s dumping bio-hazard on our streets, I wanted to get more involved in community.”

“I would like to garner your support to reflect and serve the current needs of Kentwood stakeholders so that I can foster change and strengthen our Kentwood Home Guardians (KHG) community plans. I would use actionable innovation to strengthen the well-being of KHG, with an effort to produce seamless sustainable process. For example – processes that define interactions with LA City departments to ensure Kentwood Declaration of Protective Restrictions are followed as well as community education and engagement plans.”

“These processes would benefit all of our homes in Kentwood and create an awareness of what KHG can do for stakeholders. I would also seek out and facilitate Kentwood resident input and feedback to reflect their ideals and concerns. I look forward to talking to you at KHG meetings and around the neighborhood.”

Todd Harris

Todd is the VP of Lending at Genesis Capital where he is responsible for originating, underwriting and approving new entities for Genesis Capital. Prior to joining Genesis, he was the Senior VP of Sales for RPM Mortgage in LA and had previously owned his own business, Harris Funding Corp. for almost a decade.

“Although my family and I have only lived here for three years, we are grateful to have discovered the magical, idyllic neighborhood that is Kentwood. As a Kentwood Home Guardian Board Director, it is imperative that we keep Kentwood this familial haven that it’s known to be throughout our community of neighbors. I feel it’s not only my duty as a proud homeowner, but would be honored to serve on the Association to preserve the sanctity of Kentwood; our ‘secret’ neighborhood gem.”
